1756 Removable Terminal Blocks Removable terminal blocks (RTBs) provide a flexible interconnection between your plant wiring and  1756 I/O modules. The RTB plugs into the front of the I/O module. The type of module determines the  RTB you need. You can choose screw-clamp or spring-clamp RTBs. RTBs are not shipped with I/O modules. You must order them separately. The standard housing on the  front of the wiring arm is not necessarily deep enough for 2.5 mm2  (14 AWG) wiring. If you plan to use  2.5 mm2  (14 AWG) wiring, also order the extended housing. The 1756-OB16D is an input/output digital DC output module. It is manufactured and created by Allen-Bradley. It belongs to the ControlLogix family. It houses 16 diagnostic outputs. The maximum operating voltage is 30 Volts DC and the minimum operating voltage is 19.2 Volts DC. It has a 24 Volts DC voltage rating. The 1756-OB16D has a maximum operating temperature of 60 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 0 degrees Celsius. It has different standard certifications. It has an open style enclosure and an environment with a relative humidity range of 5 to 95%. The 1756-OB16D has 2 removable terminal block houses known as the 1756-TBCH and the 1756-TBS6H. It can handle different voltage interfaces. It also supports both isolated 8-channel and non-isolated 12-channel modules with complete stability for all the operating temperature range. For communication purpose, it has direct connection or rack optimized connection. It provides ON/OFF detection and actuation. It also includes status per channel and fault LED annunciation. It comes with a HART modem for each channel for faster data transfer and updates. It helps to reduce the need for field isolating barriers while using isolated modules. This module acts as the interface between controllers and field devices.
