Flamgard Plus by Crowcon is a flammable gas detector using a poison resistant pellistor sensor supplied in 316 stainless steel housing. A marine-grade alloy junction box contains an amplifier/transmitter to provide a 3-wire 4-20mA output.

A 3-digit LCD with a backlight and an LED status indicator provides a user interface, calibration is non-intrusive and is performed using the magnetic wand supplied. The junction box is available with M20, 1/2″ or 3/4″ NPT cable entries.

Gas types available: methane, pentane, propane, butane, hexane, hydrogen, LPG, methanol, ethanol, propanol, ethylene, ethane, toluene, petrol vapour (unleaded) and carbon disulphide. There is also an option for ammonia or jet fuel.
