The line of Honeywell HC900 controllers is represented by four models: C30, C50, C70, C75
The Honeywell HC900 hybrid controller is an advanced logic and control loop controller with a modular design to meet the control and data acquisition requirements of a wide range of process equipment.
Combination with the optional 900 Control Station operator interface, which is highly integrated with the controller database, minimizes configuration and set-up time. This powerful integrated system with Honeywell's jointly enhanced control technology provides the user with an ideal process control solution. The ability to connect to an Ethernet network using the Modbus TCP protocol also allows access to the network using a range of HMI/SCADA software tools.
The easy-to-use Windows-based Hybrid Control Designer software, which operates via Ethernet, RS232 or modem communication, greatly simplifies controller and operator interface configuration. It provides advanced control features for debugging, runtime configuration changes while maintaining process control, full controller graphics configuration upload, and support for an array of reports for advanced documentation.
The HC900 controller provides superior closed-loop PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control and more robust analog signal processing than most logic controllers without sacrificing logic performance.
A separate fast scan cycle is provided to execute a wide range of logic and computational function blocks.
Logic blocks can also execute simultaneously with analog function blocks for time-limited events. These function blocks can be fully integrated into a combined analog and logic control strategy for consistent control performance.
